I see you walking around in a skirt and red flats. I suppose because they're more sensible than high heeled shoes. Your purse matches your umbrella and I'd like to be your fellow. Not even your favorite one. Just a fellow that is yours. Oh, you. I'd like to be your mistake. That guy you spend a couple of weeks with before you regain your better sense. You can tell your friends it didn't happen. We could walk around, or maybe we could stay inside. I'm sure you have lots of interesting things to say about the works of Fellini. Sometimes I would make you a mix tape that is filled with songs that are over reveling about how lucky I'd feel to have you here.Cause you're the girl with the red shoes and I know that I can't have you. But maybe, just maybe, you'll take a break from your judgement. It might be to piss off your parents. You'll come and lay in bed with me,come around and make a pie with me; come take a walk in the park with me. I'll even ignore my allergies. If I do, we need to kiss before I stop breathing. I guess what I'm trying to say is, "Oh, you. I'd like to be your mistake. That guy you spend a couple of weeks with before you regain your better sense. You can tell your friends it didn't happen."
